Jason T. Miller

Jason T. Miller (born 1979, Los Angeles, California) is an American record producer, songwriter, and television and film composer. He has produced and/or co-written songs for music artists including Kanye West and Keyshia Cole. He is also credited as a co-producer of Keyshia Cole’s track “This Is Us” of the album A Different Me with Interscope’s A&R executive, songwriter and producer Ron Fair who was the executive producer of the project.

Miller is the son of veteran arranger and composer Bruce Miller who has worked with numerous artists such as Rod Stewart, Joss Stone, The Temptations, Soul Train, The Commodores, Paul Anka, Mighty Clouds of Joy, and Andrae Crouch among many others. Bruce has also composed for TV shows such as Frasier, Wings and Designing Women to name a few.

Miller has composed music for many high profiled projects in television, commercials, and film. His commercial work includes Red Bull and J Brand Jeans. In 2007, he won Best Original Score for the short film Threshold at the 168 Film Project. In addition, Miller composed music for Sony Pictures Entertainment ‘Til Death,[1] which he shares credits with his father Bruce. He also played the lead guitar in the music for CBS’ television show, Becker.

Miller's guitar playing has also contributed to his career and earned him accolades. In May 2000, he won first place at the Jam with Kenny Wayne Shepherd Guitar Competition out of more than 4,000 submissions. Miller was also named a finalist in 2002 at the North American Rock Guitar Competition where he was one of five guitarists selected from the North American pool of entries. His expertise was called upon at the 2009 Dynamic Producer Conference held in Los Angeles where Miller was invited to participate as a panelist. He is also a member of SESAC, originally the Society of European Stage Authors & Composers, which is a sponsor of the Dynamic Producer Conference.
